The Merit® surface prep A/O medium grit TR (Type III) non-woven quick-change disc features an aluminum oxide abrasive grain coating that offers up to a 20% higher cut rate than competitive products. The medium grit surface is ideal for blending and finishing metals and non-ferrous materials of various types, including carbon steels, aluminum and composites. Create smear-free finishes thanks to the disc's proprietary clean bond resin, which also reduces loading on soft materials. High loft nylon fiber construction pairs with a nylon scrim backing provides durability and stiffness that lasts.
